Love Wins
We had the pleasure of spending yesterday with two wonderful women who officially committed their lives to one another in front of their friends and family. Lisa & Jenni were absolutely glowing with love and adoration for each other, and it was evident that this is the kind of love that lasts a lifetime. I'm not going to lie - I cried behind my lens more than once at this wedding because their love was so raw, and real and genuine. Their vows tugged at every string of my heart and the looks on their faces throughout the whole day were priceless. We were honored to be chosen for this wedding for several reasons.
First off - working with people who are truly in love is inspiring. It lights a fire in us that allows our creativity to flourish, and it makes our job easy to take photos of love when it actually exists. We can say without a doubt that this wedding was one for the books!
Second - Jenni & Rah have known each other for several years and have a very unique history of friendship & solidarity. This made our rapport genuine and we got to see what happiness looks like with no holding back due to unfamiliarity. Our friendship helped to make the whole experience go off without a hitch.
Third - To be the photographers chosen for an Art/Photography teacher's wedding is beyond flattering. Lisa is a TC superstar raising and nurturing generations of current & future photographers and artists. To be good enough at our craft for an art teacher to select our team to photograph her wedding is beyond good enough for us.
