If you were given the choice to live in the past, present or future, where would you live and why? For me, there's nothing like the present.

Don't get me wrong, my past is the foundation on which I've built my current life. It wasn't easy and there are things and people that I wish I could put back in my life...but only if I could bring them to my present self. I don't want to go back and relive some of the pain in my past, so missing those people and things is not enough for me to choose to live there, but I do value where I come from.

The FUTURE! So many ways it could turn out...will we be living on floating cities with flying cars or in trash heaps with no clean water. This is another reason why I love being right here in the present. Today is how we form the future. As excited as I am to see all the amazing things humanity can achieve, I'm more interested in being part of the team that makes all the good things happen.

Well let me tell you - this company has a past, present & future that has helped our community grow for the better. Founded in 1974, Networks Northwest facilitates and manages various programs and services for the 10 counties of Northwest Michigan. Their primary service categories are: workforce development; business & economic development; and community development. Their programs include Northwest Michigan Works, Small Business Development Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, various business services, and many different initiatives in response to our communities’ requests and needs. You will see the broad spectrum of workforce, business and community services Networks Northwest offers shown all over Northern Michigan. Networks Northwest's member counties are: Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford.
